About Mary
Learning English doesn’t have to be stressful—it should be engaging, practical, and enjoyable.
I specialize in helping ESL learners improve their speaking, listening, pronunciation, vocabulary, and everyday communication skills. My lessons are personalized to your goals, whether you’re learning English for travel, work, school, interviews, or simply to communicate with confidence.
I create a relaxed, supportive environment where mistakes are welcomed as part of the learning process. My teaching style focuses on real conversations, clear explanations, and building confidence through practical activities rather than memorization alone.
Outside the classroom, I’ve practiced martial arts since 1998, which has taught me discipline, patience, and consistency—qualities I bring into every lesson. I’m also a fan of 80s and 90s music and culture, vintage finds, and great coffee, so if we share those interests, we’ll always have something fun to talk about while practicing English!
